Subject: {Subject Title}
Sent: {Date] {Time} {Time Zone}

did not reach the following recipient(s):

If that fails, contact your administrator.
<{Issuing Server} #5.4.0>

Variation 2:
address@domain.com on {Date] {Time} {Time Zone}
The e-mail system was unable to deliver the message, but did not report a specific reason. Check the address and try again. If it still fails, contact your system administrator.
<{Issuing Server} #4.0.0 smtp;450 <address@domain.com>: Sender address rejected: Domain not found>

Explanation:
This non-delivery report provides the relevant information about the email and the error which has occurred.  The {Issuing Server} is not always the server that the error has occurred at but rather the server that issued the error message to the 'Sender'.

The phrase "The destination server for this recipient could not be found in Domain Name Service (DNS)." and "Sender address rejected: Domain not found" indicate the cause.  The errors are self explanatory, the stated domain "@domain.com" is not a registered domain name and therefore the email cannot be delivered to it.

Conclusion & Action Required:
The sender should ensure that the email address is correctly typed.  If email address is correctly spelt, then the sender should contact the recipient to enquire as to whether the email address has been provided incorrectly or if their service provider's servers have a fault.

The recipient should contact their service provider to enquire as to the cause of the error, or provide the sender with the correct email address.
